In 2022, the World Economic Forum initatied an ongoing partnership with Accenture and Microsoft to develop A NEW TYPE OF HYBRID DIGITAL/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE that would bring their causes to life for a global audience of leaders seeking to improve the state of the world. The result is an experience that innovates on traditional immersive design and development TO CREATE EMOTIONAL CONNECTION THAT LEADS TO INVESTMENT AND REAL-WORLD IMPACT within an unusal audience.

Michael led the creative development and production teams for the first two iterations of the GCV experience. These teams were responsible for virtual space and experience creation, physical space design, event design, QA, and the training and in-the-field management of a cross-organizational team of 64 staff to run the live events in Davos, Switzerland. The GCV also represented the first external deployment of the Mesh platform at Mircosoft, requiring CLOSE COLLABORATION BETWEEN ACCENTURE DESIGN AND MICROSOFT ENGINEERING to implement new features and adjust creative to best take advantage of Mesh's capabilities. Building the GCV required COORDINATING ACROSS THREE DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS, ALL TIMEZONES, AND A GROUP OF C-SUITE STAKEHOLDERS WHO WERE NEW TO THE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS for immersive experiences.
